About Us
Alan and Michelle are a husband and wife duo from Massachusetts. Alan does acrylic paintings on canvas and sells originals and prints. Michelle takes nature and wildlife photographs around New England, especially Maine.
Alan Dellascio has been drawing and painting for most of his life. At a very young age he was captivated by various instructional painting shows on TV. By his teenage years he had tried out all the different styles of painting and learned that he was most efficient with acrylic paints. He graduated from Salem State College in 2000, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a concentration in drawing and painting. Alan then went on to work in some of the museums in Salem, Massachusetts, where several of his background murals can be seen to this day. He has also been working in and around the haunted attraction industry in New England for over 25 years. Alan eventually turned his love of Halloween and his love of painting into one venture, and in 2014 he started selling his art professionally. His artwork can be found for sale in several museum gift shops in Salem, Mass, and at galleries around the country. Alan can be found at Fright Kingdom in Nashua, New Hampshire, for all of their events, where he has a booth showcasing his Halloween art. Alan has been commissioned dozens of times for custom holiday themed house paintings. His art can be seen on Instagram @DellascioArtworks and on Facebook @DellascioArtworks.
Michelle grew up playing in the woods surrounding her childhood home, watching the animals in the woods and the birds at the feeders. Her parents took her, and her sister, to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the deep woods of Northern Maine for many summer vacations. This created a deep love of nature that is so often showcased in her photography. Michelle is self-taught on her digital camera and continues to learn as she goes. Her first camera was a gift, well-loved and used. Her next and current camera and lenses were purchased after her father passed away. He was a big part of her love of nature and very knowledgeable about the animals of the area. Michelle hopes that her photography brings joy to others and helps them to appreciate nature and all its beauty. Her photography can be found on Facebook @MichelleDellascioPhotography and @DellascioArtworks.
